Paul JarvisPhysical Volcanologist
Biography
My research focuses on the physical modelling of magmatic and volcanic systems, with a particular focus on multi-phase flows. Current research involves studying various physical phenomena including tephra transport and sedimentation, the mixing and mingling of magmas and the dynamics of Vulcanian plumes. I am also interested in broader geophysical flows as well as more fundamental fluid dynamics.
