GNS Science is committed to putting the safety of our staff, communities and stakeholders first - 15/05/2020

We wanted to update you on our operations in light of the recent Covid-19 announcements. Updated 15/05/20

Covid-19
15/05/20

Tēnā koe
As promised, I wanted to update you on what we are doing at GNS Science to reflect the move to pandemic alert level 2. More of our staff will be returning to key operations within our offices from Monday 18 May.

We remain committed to the safety of our staff, communities and stakeholders.

From Monday 18 May:

  • Our main sites (Avalon, Gracefield, Wairakei, Dunedin) will remain closed to visitors. We remain available through video meetings, email and phone calls.
  • Reception areas at each site will be open and we will be able to receive deliveries.
  • Strict hygiene, contact tracing and physical distancing protocols will be in place. All staff working on site during level 2 will be required to undertake a COVID-19 health and safety induction before they return to work.

We are pleased to be able to continue our work on projects and contracts that are important to our stakeholders. We know it has been a difficult time for many organisations, and we are glad to be able to support you in meeting your obligations and providing important services to New Zealand. GNS Science will continue to support our partners, stakeholders, clients and research collaborators with excellent science advice, analysis, project support and other services through this time.
In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions.
Nākū noa, nā
Ian Simpson
CEO, GNS Science
