GNS Science is committed to putting the safety of our staff, communities and stakeholders first - 05/10/2020

We wanted to update you on our operations in light of the recent Covid-19 announcements. Updated 05/10/20

Covid-19

5 October 2020

Tēnā koe

Following the Government’s decision that the Auckland region (Pukekohe to Wellsford) will join the rest of New Zealand at alert level 1 at 11.59am on Wednesday 7 October 2020, GNS Science will move to alert level 1 protocols at all its worksites.

Our priority remains the wellbeing, health and safety of our staff and also the clients and stakeholders we invite to our worksites. It is important that we keep delivering excellent science and associated services for the benefit of all New Zealanders.

  • All GNS Science offices – Auckland, Avalon, Gracefield, Wairakei, and Dunedin – are open to staff and external visitors
  • We would like to ask our visitors to scan the QR codes at our worksites for contact tracing purposes
  • GNS Science staff will continue to be asked to keep track of where they have been and who they have seen
  • Physical distancing is not required in meeting rooms
  • Maintaining good hygiene remains important

As always, we will continue to support our partners, stakeholders, clients and research collaborators through this time.

Nākū noa, nā
Ian Simpson
CEO, GNS Science
