Lucjan obtained his first degrees in Geochemistry and Mineralogy from the University of Silesia in Poland. He finished his PhD examining geothermal tracers (naphthalenesulfonates) at Victoria University of Wellington in 2020. He since then worked for GNS in experimental Geochemistry Laboratory in Wairakie. Lucjan’s research interests include geothermal inorganic aqueous geochemistry, mineral extraction from geothermal fluids and research into geothermal tracers.
