Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations

Bring your Powerpoint presentation on a USB stick or CD-ROM and report to the Speakers Prep Area, located on the mezzanine floor of the Rotorua Convention Centre. A technician will be there to upload your presentation onto the network. Presentations must be loaded in advance of the session. There will not be time to upload files during the running of the sessions.

Each presentation room is equipped with a computer (PC) for Powerpoint presentations, a data projector, roving and lapel microphones. There will also be a technician in each room to assist.

All session chairpersons have been asked to be strict with presentation timings to ensure that the programme runs to time. Please adhere to the time allocated to you.

Please note that total time per presentation (standard presentations 15 minutes; IAGS keynotes 30 minutes and NZGW keynotes 45 minutes, unless notified otherwise) should normally allow for questions and also includes changing and introducing speakers.

Posters

The size available to poster presentations is A0 in portrait orientation, (841 mm wide by 1189 mm high). However, the poster boards are 2.3 m tall so you are not strictly limited to the 1189 mm heights. So, while these boards do extend to the floor it would be wise not to extend that far down. Posters are to be fixed to the boards with velcro hook spots.

On arrival refer to the poster number you have been assigned (also available on the website in advance) and install your poster in the allocated space on the poster display boards located in the Ballroom, Ground floor of the Rotorua Convention Centre.

There are specific poster sessions (see program) and as a presenter, you are kindly requested to be present at your poster during the allocated poster session.
