Ruamoko - What Lies Beneath

Museum of New Zealand Te Papatongarewa
Friday 15 June 2012

Throughout New Zealand there are volcanic areas and geological features that are interpreted via Mātauranga Māori and Western Science. This presentation of narratives and current research aims to explore the distinctive contribution and unique outcomes which can be achieved through working together on common outcomes.

Presentations will include an overview of what we have learned, and continue to learn, about Christchurch and the recent Lake Rotomahana - Pink and White Terraces project. There will be opportunities for you to interact with presenters and ask questions.
