Space Heating

space heating

Geothermal energy can be used for heating, which reduces the consumption of other fuels.

District heating schemes, such as those in Iceland, Turkey, China and France, supply geothermal fluid to multiple buildings for space heating and provide hot water for domestic use.

Geothermal heating can also supply heat to individual facilities, such as schools, prisons, hospitals and dwellings.
