2005 cf. Rubipollis oblatus (Pocknall & Mildenhall) Mildenhall & Pocknall 1989; Bannister et al. pp. 518, 522, figs 3J-M [dispersed pollen].

Note: In situ pollen. Dispersed pollen apparently identical to F. staminosa was identified by Bannister et al. (2005) as "cf. Rubipollis oblatus(Pocknall & Mildenhall)"; such pollen differing from R. oblatus only in a relatively finer sculpture was also mentioned by Mildenhall & Pocknall (1989).

Natural affinity: Dicotyledonae: ?Rutaceae.

NZ age range: Neogene.
