Objective 4. Paleoclimate Database
This objective facilitates development of a regional paleoclimate database for Australasia and Antarctica to aid regional paleoclimate reconstructions and validation of climate models. The database will be developed in collaboration with other local and international science programmes and linked to the Past Global Changes Project of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme. It will foster international collaboration and enable research stretch through the integration of diverse data sets. Paleoclimate and paleoenvironmental data are uploaded to GNS’ online data repository.
