Following on from the successful workshop held at NIWA in November 2008, GNS Science is pleased to announce it will be hosting the 2nd annual Stable Isotope Users meeting. The meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 11th November 2009 at the National Isotope Centre in Gracefield, Lower Hutt. Registration costs will be $25 for students and $40 for non-students, which will cover morning tea, lunch and nibbles.
The theme of the conference is "Future Directions" and it is again aimed at scientists, academics, technicians, isotope support staff, and students who include stable isotope analyses in their research or who are interested in learning more about stable isotope applications in New Zealand science. We aim to accommodate as many people as possible to share their research and technical expertise. There will be time for a round table discussion for laboratories and associated staff at the end of the day.
